Re: English translations for "Promise to Not Love You"

It... er... includes things not in the lyrics, but it could do too. And the two wrong words from your source threw you off, or you'd be even closer. Yep. I don't mind whether I'm credited at all lol. However, I would like the link to my email to be removed. Privacy issues. You know. Thanks. :P

Re: English translations for "Promise to Not Love You"

I bet you could. You're welcome lol.

It is indeed fitting. Cheaters, both of them lol. I meant that in an 'Awww' way.

Re: English translations for "Promise to Not Love You"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czMCLHzx1Kw The second line should be 思念, not 失恋. I think the site from which you copied made a mistake. The pronunciations are close, so it's easy to make the mistake. Anyway, here's my version: 答應不愛你 – 鄭中基 (Promise Not to Love You - Ronald Cheng) 明明愛很清晰 卻又接受分離 (It is...

Re: Differences between GAME and DRAMA

Yes, much of the end was made up. Xie Jian Xian wasn't even the final boss in the game. According to Baidu's encyclopedia ( click to read about Fire Ghost King/Queen in both the game and the drama series ), the Fire Ghost Queen appeared to have been destroyed after Xie Jian Xian was destroyed, so I'...

Re: Differences between GAME and DRAMA

*back after rushing through a few minutes of footage of the late episodes* It appears that I was mistaken. Luo Ru Lie did not die in the confrontation in the vampire story arc. He was merely severely injured. He became a half-human, half-demon creature (second appearance was when the party got the E...

Re: Differences between GAME and DRAMA

Tang Men: Literally translated as Door of Tang. It basically means Tang Family (or clan/sect/group/whatever). Gambling Place: The name of this gambling den is Da San Yuan. Pi Li Tang is located UNDER the gambling den (like in the basement). The female vampire was INSIDE Pi Li Tang, therefore she wa...

Re: Differences between GAME and DRAMA

To save time, I've mostly only highlighted details concerning the vampires. Skip the summary to the bottom for my analysis if you want (or search for ' end of summary ' using ctrl+f). EDIT: There is no winning or losing in a discussion. 8) ---------------------------------START OF SUMMARY-----------...

Re: Differences between GAME and DRAMA

Because of the genre (fantasy), I don't think it's easy to put a line between game and drama series. The two aren't mutually exclusive, you know. And most things can't just be put in either one or the other. Look at Journey to the West. I think we can agree that the novel came waaaay before any game...

Re: Differences between GAME and DRAMA

While I'm not afraid of the general scary stuff, it doesn't attract me the same way comedies do. I mean, I like laughing better. In fact, I'd rank horror at the bottom of my prefered genres. It's actually not exclusively in games that things have durability. Games were made to emulate the 'real' wor...

Re: Differences between GAME and DRAMA

They have to flesh out story arcs and characters, or else they'd only have like 20 episodes at most. Mao Shan got put in a positive light (lucky him lol). That's actually what I did last night lol. At least some of last night. I was alone in my apartment, re-watching the CP3 vampire episodes (I'm up...

Re: Game vs Drama: Which you like?

The game, definitely.

It's like Berserk. Anyone who watches the anime will think it's awesome. That is until they read the manga. Then they will like the anime less. The anime's just a method of reaching out to the masses; just as the CP drama series reaches out to the non-gamers.

Re: Fantasy Zhu Xian 梦幻诛仙 Mini-drama

Yeah, saw that quite a while back. Forgot to post it here (my mind was like,'Zhu Xian zhu xian zhu xian.', and forgot the cast is from CP3). I wish it was a drama series, and of the original Zhu Xian (the novel), rather than this Meng Huan Zhu Xian.

Re: Differences between GAME and DRAMA

I was rather touched by the gesture by the big bloke too. And it wasn't disgusting to me. I guess I was more touched than disgusted lol. Also impressed by how he could survive while lopping off his own flesh. I bet I would though. You'd lighten the mood of the movie lol. 'Oh noes, here comes the fly...
