I can imagine, I think she'd look pretty cool =) I think there were some shots in which her hair looked reddish while watching the series. Not sure which episodes though

i would say that if i have to choose, i would definitely choose what happen in the game rather than in the series, i mean what the F***?? in the game, yue ru died bec. a huge stone fell on to her but who knows that the huge rock will fell but in the series, why were they just standing?? i mean they should have run to a safer place rather than sacrificing herself/himself... yue ru died harshly on the series...

I think the yue ru in the series is more sad... It shows her being crushed and even show a flashback of her and Xiao Yao and their promise... Now thinking of this I am almost crying...

i just wish that there will be a remake of the drama so that it will be more faithful to the game XD
the drama isnt bad overall...but some parts really pissed me off
especially the part where yue ru died= =
why does someone have to be sacrificed in order to get out of the tower??? i never understood that part

Yeh.. I would be happy to see a remake of Xian Jian (only if its directed better than this and with a better cast.. I still really like this casting =))

I think it would be better if it is 100% off the game storyline.

But that's pretty hard to make consider how many mazes there are, and everything happened through Xiao Yao's view as he progresses in a very linear path.

I haven't seen the series but from what I've heard, it seems the front door was a perfectly plausible escape option.

Lightbrand wrote:Yue Ru died the most retarded death in the film...

In the game:
She was holding onto Ling Er and Xiao Yao, when those two somehow got themselves into (Lava?) Then a huge frickin' rock landed on her and she died...: (

In the film:
What the hell? After they slash all the poles in the chamber (Don't have to go through all the maze to find the poles, like in the game). All three of them are just standing there while holding hands! What the hellx2, then Yue Ru realize that she will sacrifice herself and threw Ling Er and Xiao Yao into a safe area (A place not hard to get to I might add)... then one of the pole landed on her...

My thoughts:
You can make no comments about her death in the game because...Well, who knew the big rock was coming, and even if you do, there is no way to dodge it...

But in the film!! WHY ARE YOU THREE STANDING THERE?? For god's sake, and I don't know what flooded Yue Ru's mind at that second because, last time I checked...It's really not that hard for all three of you to get to that safe area if you just went there after you slash the poles...Stupid director and the guy responsible for the remake of the story...
I strongly agree with you. The game's way of Yueru's death is more natrual and made the drama a joke.

Yue Ru's death in the drama was lame.. LAME!! Seriously what was the director thinking? I'm sure that whole "someone must die" business confused every one of us.. Why would you stand there??

Yeah! ......if the Writer..... wants it to be more different than in the game ending..... why did he or she tried letting all of them live? is the writer a sadist or something? LOL..... all of the main character died basically in the case of Ah Nu and Tang Yu.... why not make the ending have a happy ending? did the writer haven't read any fairy tale? all of us likes a happy ending
and yeah it really was poorly directed..... should have created a scene that there is really no escape from death like someone got caught by a rock when Running.....\
They're like sitting Ducks there literally waiting for them to be smashed by the crumbling tower they should have made it more convincing....

Sorry, Tu Ling Zhu is the earth pearl, in the game you use it to escape mazes ^^;
